About Me
Hello, can I thank you firstly for looking at Zoe’s Child Care Services.
My name is Zoe Appleby & I am a 42 year old mother of four & live with my husband who is a train driver & our children. We live in a quiet semi rural location in Walsoken. We have lots of space for children to play & explore they're surroundings both in & outside of the house. I focus on the day to day activities & how to improve your child's progress by following the EYFS guidelines. I am a friendly, happy & energetic person who aims to make people & children feel safe and welcome when in my company and my home.
I work closely with parents as well as the children to ensure we get the best outcome for your child(ren). I aim to make your Childs time with me as fun & exciting as well as educational.
I have an Ofsted registration number, an up to date first aid certificate, food hygiene certificate and I have my level three in childcare and a safeguarding certificate. I have a full driving licence which im also insured for business use and as well as a public liability insurance.
I currently pick up from West Walton primary school and Big Adventures pre school.
*Please note I am currently full until sept 2025!!
My Experience
I tick all the boxes on paper with being qualified and having been trained in childcare, but being a mother of four children has given me lots of different hurdles to jump in many areas in life. I have also worked in two primary schools and owned my own salon. I believe that gut ingesting along side with training and being a mother for 22 years has helped me become the person and childminder I am today.

My Availability
My working hours are 7.30am- 5.30pm Monday-Friday. If you need child care outside of these hours, please talk to me as I may be able to make arrangements to suit your needs.

I can’t thank Zoe enough for looking after my precious baby. I’m very much an anxious person when it comes to leaving my girl with other people but Zoe literally made it so easy. Zoe is such a bubbly, caring and child centred practitioner that after a few weeks my girl was excited and happy to be there- which for me was the most important!
Thank you so much Zoe for all of your hard work and treating her as your own!

My little girl has been with zoe since October 2019 and all I can say is wow. Zoe is so good with my daughter and and my daughter loves going to Zoe and spending time with her! Hands down the best childminder around. Would 100% recommend Zoe. Her house is a lovely setting for children and like a home from home.
