My Summary

My Experience

I have had 3 years placement experience from college in various different child care settings and i also have many younger family members who i have looked after independently. I have worked as a room leader in a preschool room where I help prepare them for school but learning phonics, maths etc as well as doing lots of fun activities! I’ve also been a toddler room leader as well. I have been a live out nanny to 4 children aged between 3-13 so have a good age experience, this has included doing school run, looking after the youngest doing various activities to encourage learning as well as doing a few basic jobs around the house. I have worked as a live out nanny to 4 children aged between 4-13. I did school drop off and pick up whilst looking after the youngest, during the day we have activities that are fun but also help with learning and getting ready for school, we go out and explore our local and sometimes wider community, we especially loved getting messy and muddy puddles. As well as looking after the children i would cook their meals, wash clothes and put away as well as doing the basic cleaning within the house. I am now currently working at Ashbourne day nurseries in Mawsley in a toddler room full time, I love being around 2-3 aged children as you get to watch their personalities grow and help them develop in the tricky toddler age
