My Experience

I have worked within the childcare sector for over 15 years, I became an apprentice within a nursery and over the years have gained qualifications and worked my way up from apprentice to deputy manager, I then worked as an assessor to deliver childcare qualifications to apprentices.

I have also worked as a private Nanny having sole charge 3 boys under the age of 8. Each of the boys had different individual need such as minor learning difficulty and fear of water. I later became a mothers help for a family with English as a second language, I worked closely with the family often having sole charge of 3 girls aged 4, 2 and new born. I supported the family in routines with the children.

I have great experience in working with Special Educational Needs and adapting activities to promote inclusion.

I have been successful delivering childcare and teaching qualifications to apprentices for "Children's and Young Persons Workforce", “Early Years Educator” and "Support for Teaching and Learning."

My Qualifications

BA Hons in Early Childhood Studies.

Foundation Degree in Early Years and Education.

Taqa 3 Assessors Award teaching and childcare

12 GCSE’s, 8 of which A – C Grade

NVQ Level 2 and 3 in Childcare, Learning and Development

Paediatric First Aid Level 3

Care provided from 7.30am - 6pm. Although there is flexibility outside these hours.
