About Me

Creature Comforts Childcare is open from 7am till 5pm, Monday to Friday. There are spaces available for all ages and drop offs and pick ups are available for Firfield primary school (Breaston).

I am an early years teacher with experience working with children of all ages, including new born. I live with my partner Thomas, our two sons, Max and Kaius and our very friendly cat called TopCat.

Our house is very clean and spacious and there are two large rooms allocated to the children for play, learning and development. We have an outside area with sandpits, slides, playhouses, gardening areas etc where the children can have plenty of exercise and use their imagination to create games and learn about the world through gardening and the wildlife.

I wholeheartedly believe childminding to be the best for a child's development as they receive more one to one time which means I can focus more on each individuals needs to help them achieve and give them a great head start before starting school.

We are a 5 minute walk from West Park, which is a beautiful safe and fun park with plenty of children's areas to play. In summer they have a water park and many other activities to join in on. There are plenty of toddler play groups near by and always something to do, every day we venture out come rain or shine, either to the farm, garden centre, library, play centre, outside play groups or other adventurous places. We organise a once a month big trip, this could be anything from a theme park to the theater for the full-time early years.

My hourly rate is dependent on what you would need. I do offer the 30 hours funded childcare for 2, 3 & 4 year old children and tax-free childcare .

Please bear in mind that these prices include breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks. I have a healthy eating policy so no packed lunches, I make all their food here so they have hot meals, for example Salmon with sweet potato mash and broccoli or chicken with rice and green beans and fresh fruit - (you get the idea, any super foods, essential amino acids, omega 3 foods etc). It also includes public transport fares for trips and all other costs for the small day to day trips (swimming/crazy golf/play groups etc). It does not however include the big trips.
