About Me
My name is Georgia, I'm 25 years old and I live in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.
I am a fun loving, kind and compassionate person. I have worked with Children in different settings for the past 7 years, but mostly as a nanny.
I have had 3 long term nanny roles with 3 wonderful families, as well as having worked in a children's residential home. My current role is due to end at the end of August as the child I care for is moving on to nursery, at which point I will have cared for him for the past 18 months. Prior to my current role, I spent a year working in a children's residential home, and prior to this I was a nanny to a little boy for two years.
I have adored every single role I have had working with children, especially my nannying roles. It is such a privilege to be a part of a child's early life, and to be a positive part of their development. I have always found it incredibly rewarding and fulfilling, and I wish to continue on this path with a new family.
I am currently looking for a new role for when my current one ends at the end of August. I am flexible on days and hours, and would be happy to consider a part time role if it were to meet my requirements.
My Experience
I have experience with new borns, toddlers, young children and pre-teens
I love to get out and about and explore with the children I take care of. I am very accustomed to taking children to different classes and groups, I find it particularly important to spend time outside the house, encouraging their social skills and development, and having fun of course!
I also have experience with children with different neuro-developmental 'disorders' (or 'differences' as I prefer to say) such as ADHD, Autism, PTSD, OCD and more, and thus I have specialised approaches to managing such differences. I have a keen interest in child psychology, especially in neuro-developmental differences, and as a part of my time working at a children's residential home, I did a short course in Child Psychotherapy.
I have a full clean drivers license and my own car and I am happy to take the children anywhere parents ask me to. I am also happy to do light household chores to do with the children.

My Availability
My current role ends at the end of August, so I am looking to begin my next role in early September. I am interested in both part time and full time roles.

My Fees
- Nannying from £16.00 per hour (gross)
I am looking for a minimum gross of £1900 per month. This would work out at around 27 hours per week at my rate of £16 per hour. Annual leave to be decided based on total hours required. I am happy to work on a self employed basis (this is what I have done for my two previous roles) or as an employee, whatever you would prefer.
