About Me
I am a childminder who is registered with and inspected by Ofsted. I have an NVQ level 3 in Children's Care, Learning and Development. I am DBS cleared by Ofsted, as is my husband. We also hold all the relevant Public Liability Insurance, Paediatric First Aid and Safeguarding Training, ensuring your children are in safe hands.
We already child mind for a number of local families and references are available on request.
Ww have experience of caring for children from 10 days to 12 years.
Our home is spacious and well set up for a child's individual needs. Children have access to outside space and activities as well as opportunities for outings and walks to local parks and woods, the zoo and Toddler groups.
We provide meals for the children in our care, with a sensible approach to healthy eating. Most food is home prepared and uses good quality, fresh ingredients. We are usually able to cater for a variety of dietary requirements if requested.
Our aim is provide a homely, nurturing environment where children can access a wide variety of experiences and learning opportunities.
My Experience
I have been enjoying working as a childminder since April 2008. Prior to qualifying and registering I cared for my own children at home after giving up work as a residential social worker, I found that both my work and parenting experiences have helped me immensely in my vocation as a childminder. I have experience of working across a wide range of age groups, my youngest starter was 10 days old and the eldest children are in year 6 . I also have experience of working with Send children.
My husband joined the team in 2019 and has become a fun and supportive role model to our attendees.

We also attend regular training workshops, that cover various aspects of our profession ensuring that we remain up to date with my Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) commitments and can confidently offer a full and high quality service to the parents and children in my setting.
My Availability
We are primarily a term time only setting, that can provide some additional care during school holidays if we are available.
We are currently busy, but we may have some part time spaces available. We offer a variety of care choices to suit each family's differing needs, from full time care 7.45am-6pm (Mon-Thurs), to part time hours for those parents who are looking for just a few hours a week. We can also provide occasional ad hoc care for short periods of time, to cover holidays and emergencies etc.
We offer wraparound support for children attending our local school.

My Fees
- Childminding from £7.50 per hour
We are able to provide all relevant Government Funding and Tax Free Childcare for eligible families.
We currently charge £7.50 per hour, with additional charges for food and sundries, such as nappies and wipes.
My after school rate is £22.50 including food (3hrs).Before school is £7.50 (1hr) or £10 with breakfast
