About Me
I have gained significant experience in various childcare roles since 2017 that I believe will
be an asset to the role I would like to apply for. As well as my years of practical experience,
my maternity nurse qualification has given me the skills and confidence to care for young
babies and aid them with every step of their growth. Contributing to the healthy development
of babies is one of the most rewarding aspects of my job, and the great progress made by
each of the babies and children (aged 0-5) I have previously worked with is a source of pride
for me. As the sole in charge of each of the babies I have cared for, I am also accountable
and take responsibility for providing excellent care. I am highly observant and tailor my
approach to their individual needs.
My Experience

• Energetic and active, able to entertain children with different types of play and activities designed to encourage their creativity and curiosity.
Wellbeing and development are essential at each milestone in a child’s life, so I am
particularly excited to work supporting families, babies and children as they grow.
In my current role as a Nanny, I ensure I am planning learning activities to stimulate and
engage the child to develop cognitive development as well as communication skills. In
previous roles, I have worked with babies and children with late speech, language, and
communication, creating and implementing action plans based on evidence and best
practice.
