About Me
Hi, my name is Kylie and I'm an Ofsted registered childminder.
I live in Sandymoor, with my two daughters (13) & (10) our much loved cat Leo and guinea pigs.
I absolutely adore my job and I feel I can make a real difference to each child I have the pleasure to care for. Not only can I provide a home from home experience for your little ones, I will ensure everyday they are learning and experiencing new things, with an emphasis on fun. After all, that's what being a child is all about!
I enjoy pretty much anything creative myself, from cake making/decorating, drawing, creating hair bobbles for my little ladies to photography. I am an active person and love to go running, swimming and generally getting out in the fresh air with the little ones.
Your child will have the opportunity to explore a range of activities, such as forest school sessions, gymnastics, drawing, painting, gloop, playdough, sand, water, making music, dancing and many more. Each activity will be carefully chosen with the children's individual interests being the focus. Not only will this facilitate your child's learning and development, it will create lots of smiles and giggles along the way!
I will use observations and informal assessments to record progress and plan 'next steps' ensuring all areas of learning and development outlined in the EYFS guidelines are covered through a play based curriculum. I will share your child's learning journey with you on a termly basis in addition to daily uploads on tapestry.
We make brilliant use of our local parks, library, play centres and children's centres which offer fantastic opportunities to get messy, creative and meet new people, whilst engaging little minds.

My Experience
I have worked with children for 19 years now. Much of my experience comes from working in a nursery, however, I have learnt so much more since becoming a parent myself. I feel I can offer a more flexible, understanding service to parents and ensure each child is treated as one of my own.
