About Me
Hello! Please read the full add as this involves looking after a child with additional needs.
I’m looking for someone to help from school pick up until 6ish on Mondays and Tuesdays in termtime. There would also be the opportunity for additional hours, including in school holidays if desired.
You would collect my youngest (Year 2) from school, sometimes his brother although he likes to walk himself often. At home, it’s just snacks, playing, a bit of homework sometimes. Mostly just someone to watch over them. My eldest boy is pretty self sufficient.
School is in walking distance, though home is uphill and I could cover the bus fare if preferred! We live in Lansdown, Bath.
My youngest has autism and gets very attached to adults he likes, but at times his behaviour can be challenging - we take a ‘low demand’ approach, which means basically being very chilled and going with the flow, following his interests. We still expect good behaviour from him (!) but whoever looks after him needs to be patient, kind and happy to play Lego, Minecraft, or whatever his current special interest is! Very happy to talk more about all this.
