About Me
I live on a canal boat near Stroud. with my husband, and have a grown up daughter who lives nearby.
I am a qualified child carer with 33 years experience. I am gentle and caring, mature but young at heart,
Experience has taught me that children need patience and understanding, so I always strive to listen and read their behaviour in order to give the best of care.
We all parent differently, so I will always follow parents' guidelines on how to best support their child and maintain the routines they are used to.
Having trained as a Relax Kids coach I have many strategies and ideas to help children who need some extra support during difficult times, whether that be relaxing at bedtime or coping with stress.
I can also offer homework support and tutoring, as I have 13 yrs experience as a teaching assistant and pastoral support worker.
I currently work part time as a support worker for adults with autism.
I enjoy an outdoors lifestyle, being close to nature and having fun in the fresh air.
Music, art and dancing are my other passions.

I have worked with and cared for children from age 1 to 17, as well as being a parent myself.
My experience is very varied, so encompasses many elements of childcare - nannying, SEN support, owning/managing a breakfast, after school & holiday club, mentoring, counselling, play therapy, family support.
I currently work part time supporting adults with autism to live independently.
