My Experience

I have worked in childcare for over 15 years, loving everything about working with children and being a part of their development and learning.

Having my own children led me to the decision to become a childminder back where we lived previously before moving to the area.

I worked in a nursery for 7 years and have gained all my qualifications in my time there.

I also worked as a nanny for a several families in Oxford, caring for their children, attending local groups, providing fun activities and socialising with other nannies and their children.

I worked in a children's centre for a year where I worked with families and their children, providing support, advice and learning opportunities to parents and activities for children to learn and develop their skills in all areas, and also caring for them in crèche.

Before moving to Wales, I ran my own child minding care from our family home for over 3 years looking after children from new born and was proud to be Ofsted rated 'Good' as an establishment with 1 assistant and multiple children.

My Qualifications

Level 2&3 diploma for the children and young peoples workforce: Early learning and childcare pathway.

paediatric First aid

Level 3 in leadership and management.

Safeguarding training.

Care Inspectorate Wales registered childminder.
