About Me
Hello, my name is Sevjen, I am Ofsted registered with an Ofsted Good rating, and I am the owner of the Nursery Room. I live with my husband and two young children.
I have previously worked in nurseries, so I have a deep understanding of the EYFS and the importance of helping children learn and develop to have the best start in life.
I aim to provide a safe and secure environment for the children in my care, where they can learn through play in a friendly, welcoming, warm, and inclusive setting.
My setting is purposely built and is separate from my home in my back garden. It has all the resources for your child to have fun and to learn and develop in a way that suits them.
In my experience of working in a nursery and taking my eldest daughter to a childminder, I have been inspired to bring the two together. So I have created a childminding setting that includes some parts of a nursery aspect to help ensure that the children are being well looked after, in a setting where they, and their families, feel safe and secure and where they can learn and develop to the best of their ability.
My Experience
I have been working in nurseries since I graduated from university in 2011.
I have been a room leader, where I have managed staff, planned activities, and, most importantly, helped children learn through play and achieve the best they can achieve.
I have a great deal of experience working with children from different ethnic backgrounds and ages (including babies), and with children with different needs.
My Qualifications
BA Honours in Education Studies
Early Years Professional Status
Level 3 Home-based Childcare qualifications (will be completed by January 2019)
Paediatric First Aid
Food Hygiene
Safeguarding
DBS Check (previously known as CRB)
My Availability
We have just started our childminding business, and we hope to be the right fit for your child's needs. We have built an extension to our home in our back garden decorated with the children's needs in mind. The inside will be cosy to help create a home from home environment and have the resources for the activities planned according to your child’s needs. The Nursery will has a separate gate access that will be locked at all times and only open when needed to ensure the safety of the children.
We are Ofsted registered with a rating of Good. Everything regarding building structure is according to Ofsted regulations and EYFS.
Operating times: 07:30 to 18:00, Monday to Friday, and not on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays

Morning session from 7.30am – 12:30pm
Afternoon session from 12.30pm – 6.00pm
* Fee are negotiable based on childcare needs, and also further discounts are available for siblings.
Government funding Accepted/Available
School drop off and pick ups also available for Eastcote Primary Academy
You must provide nappies and pre-prepared baby feeds.
Term time only is also accepted, please get in touch with us to go through the required dates as this changes from School to School.

It makes my life so much easier having a child who runs excitedly to staff at the nursery room. I feel confident that my child is cared for and she is happy. Feedback is given and activities uploaded onto a site so I get to see what she is learning and the fun she is having. I am so happy I found the nursery room.

Sevjen and her team have been amazing looking after our little boy. It took me so long to find a suitable atmosphere for him.
He comes home so happy and I would not trust anyone else.

Great atmosphere for children, warm, colourful and welcoming. Sevjen and her team are are caring and passionate looking after the children. I get a daily report of my child activities
I'm glad I choose the nursery for my 1year old son. He Absolutely loves it there.
