My Requirements

We are looking for a full time live-out nanny for our two daughters (the first, aged 2yrs 6months and the second, aged 6 months) in Barnes. We are seeking to find someone who:
• Has experience being in sole-charge looking after babies and toddlers and has excellent references;
• Is DBS checked, first-aid qualified and ideally has some form of early-learning qualifications (but not required)
• Ideally, given COVID, can walk, drive or cycle to us but this is not an essential requirement.

The main responsibilities would include:
• Being in sole-charge of the children Monday-Friday (7/8am to 5/6pm, with some flexibility around start and finish times), with occasional evening babysitting and potential (very) occasional holiday travel.
• Taking and collecting our eldest daughter to/from nursery (she attends a nursery 5 mornings per week)
• Arranging appropriate activities and outings for the children (including playgroups, playdates, sporting activities etc.,).
• Preparing nutritious meals for the children.
• Supporting the children with their educational development.
• Caring for the children when they are sick and administering medicine
• Taking care of the children’s laundry and keeping their areas tidy (we have a cleaner twice per week so no general cleaning required).
• Being in charge of certain household management tasks such as, organising online food shopping, taking deliveries, post office duties etc.,

We would like to find someone who is kind, patient and has a genuine interest in
working with young children. We both work and have demanding and sometimes somewhat unpredictable schedules, so we are looking for someone who is also dynamic, proactive, a clear communicator and happy to be reasonably flexible.
