About Me
I have been working in a nursery setting for several years, which has given me the knowledge and experience to open my own childcare setting. I am registered with Ofsted and have been open since January 2019.
I also have two assistants that work alongside me. My first assistant is Heather Watson, she is a qualified nurse and has worked at Daisy Chain since January 2020. My second assistant is Tia Smith who joined our team in January 2023, she holds a level 3 in childcare and has over seven years of childcare experience.
Our setting comprises of two dedicated rooms. The main room is a jungle themed playroom, filled with lots of exciting and colourful resources which are appealing to children. The room includes a shopping role play area, a cosy reading corner with sofa and a children’s play tent and tunnel. The second room is designated to creativity, which provides a safe area for messy play activities.
We are lucky to have open fields and horses at the bottom of our garden, which allows us to explore nature and the outdoors.
We are very proud to provide a cosy ‘home from home’ feeling with a happy, friendly atmosphere where children can develop their confidence and learn through play in a safe, warm and caring environment. Our aim is to create a loving place, where children will want to come back again and again.

My Experience
I have gained valuable experience, through working in a child care setting for a number of years. My experience included working with a variety of aged children ranging from birth to ten years old. I've also had lots of experience working alongside other professionals such as health visitors and speech and language therapists. I have attended regular training courses to ensure I’m up to date with the current statutory requirements.
My Qualifications
I hold numerous qualifications including a level 3 in Child Care, level 3 in Health and Social Care and I have recently completed a foundation degree in business and management.

My Availability
Daisy Chain Child Care is registered to provide care between the hours of 8am and 5:30pm. All children from the ages of 3 months to 10 years are welcome.

My Fees
- Childminding from £4.00 per hour
There is a set fee for half day, full day or full week
We offer the government free funding for 2, 3 and 4 year old children.

Leah our daughter has been attending daisy chain for over 12 months , as first time parents picking a childcare provider is a hard decision however my husband and I could not have chosen any better.
Rachael, Paige and Heather are hard working , kind and caring professionals who provide a fun , nurturing environment for children to learn, explore and have hours of fun. Parents are kept well informed on a daily basis.
The team plan fun educational activities , everyday is different on occasions the children visit the local area or go further afield. Daisy chain has provided Leah with numerous new learning experiences. Her personal development and progress has come along due to the dedication of the staff at Daisy Chain. Daisy chain is clean, has lots of facilities for all age ranges of children , provides home cooked meals and above all allows our daughter hours of fun. Leah really looks forward to coming and seeing her friends and having fun filled days with Rachael and team.
We can not thank them enough for all their hard work and support when caring for our daughter.

Our daughter started going to Rachael since January when she was 10 months old. Being our first daughter we were quite apprehensive to leave her with anyone but Rachael knew exactly how to do to settle her in beautifully. Aria absolutely loves going around to play with Rachael and the cries have been long gone.
I totally trust Rachael with caring for Aria, she is also very flexible (My husband and I work long shifts), very organised, sensible, and smiley.
The settings are fantastic, the house is very clean and she always gives Aria healthy and well balanced home made meals.
