About Me

Hello parents! I am a mum with lots of experience. I offer child care because I absolutely love children and enjoy watching them learn and grow to become their own person. I offer a home from home setting, while following EYFS. We will sit and play together with lots of interaction, read stories, sing nursery rhymes (although in bad tune on my part), messy play, art and crafts, outings, child groups and much much more and all of this isn’t just because it’s fun but helps their little minds grow and learn. I am a genuine, nice, caring, warm, happy person that loves to help people where I can.
I will work in partnership with parents to support and enhance the development of the child/children.
I offer children a happy, safe and secure environment where they can learn and play.
I also do school drop off and collections for local schools. Ask for more details.
My Experience
As stated above I’m an experienced mum with 19 years behind me
I was a foster carer for 3 years (only stopped because I had my 3 youngest)
I have done lots of babysitting, for all different ages.
I am an Ofsted registered childminder and have children in my setting that range from 0 upwards.
I also have experience with ADHD and autism. And also lots of twin experience.

Foster carer and all training to go with that

My Availability
I can be available most of the time, but does depend on what you are needing and also located. So please just ask as I will always try to work round parents schedules

My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
These can vary slightly and I’m willing to discuss what you feel is acceptable and work with an amount that we both are happy with. I also take TAX FREE CHILDCARE PAYMENTS, AND 15 and 30 HOUR FUNDING. I will also register any others that companies use, just let me know what they are :) ***Childminding fees are £4.85 per hour, per child but can offer sibling discounts***

A home away from home for our children who have benefitted enormously in terms of their development. I love Vicki and Eddie's professionalism in providing knowledge and expertise how to best support our twins. They are open/honest to address any concerns and provide suggestions to help support our girls. They provides a large variety of activities plus theme parties and walks/ outings, they have a lovely outside space too for children to use. If we would to rate 5/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

My 2 year old daughter loves being here, sometimes she doesn't want to leave! She talks constantly about her friends here and all the activities they do.
Vicki has always been flexible, regularly provides updates and photos, and genuinely cares about our daughter which is the most important thing to us.

My 4 years old daughter absolutely loved going to Vikie.
Vikie creates a loving, caring and safe environment for kids and offers warmth and comfort that any child needs. My daughter settled in very quickly with her and enjoyed every moment spent with her.
It is lovely to work with a childminder as Vikie. Highly recommend.

Vickie has been a great child minder for my 18 month old son. She showed special care and great communication when settling my son as i have voiced that it was his first time being left with someone other than me. She made sure she texted and sent me pictures throughout today.
She is honest, friendly and welcoming. My son got along with all her children and was happy at these times. She also filled out a diary to keep me updated with how he was, his food intake, his nappy times and any additional comments.

Hi, I really enjoyed Vickie's work as a childminder, she's very professional and very careful.
My two year old son was in Vickie's care for 6 months.
I received a daily report of the most relevant things the baby did.
In addition to the space available for the children to play, she did outings in gardens, playgrounds among other places, but this was all planned with the knowledge of the parents.
Twice I needed Vickie to stay with my son during the week-end from 5:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., she promptly showed up and took care of my son for me.
I was very pleased with Vickie's work and clearly it is highly recommended.
