About Me
Hi there, I'm 27 years old I currently work at a childminding setting in Bristol until 5:30pm Monday - Thursday. Previous to this I had worked at a nursery, an after school/holiday club and was also a nanny whilst always doing babysitting on the side too! I have about 6 years childcare experience all in all, mainly with under 4s but from 6 months - 11 year olds altogether.
I have settled really nicely into Bristol since moving here in July and love my job, it’s Monday- Thursday as previously stated so would love to find something I could do each Friday!
I have had lots of experience nannying with various ages and babysitting as well! I enjoy having fun with children as I want them to enjoy their time spent with me, I can be firm when needed but mainly try to make the time as enjoyable for everyone as possible! I have experience in helping with homework mainly for under 8s but would be willing and happy to help with any ages.
My Experience
My first job was a nannying job picking up a 6 and 9 year old and taking them home, preparing dinner and helping with homework or take them to clubs, in the time I was there they also had a baby so gained experience looking after a new born.
I have babysat for family and family friends a lot since then so have experience with all ages.
I worked at an after school/holiday club for over a year and got babysitting jobs from that too due to the fact of getting on with the children and their parents so well! (ages 3-12).
I babysat for about 5/6 different families regularly after the kids club I worked at, I also have experience babysitting with a family with 3 children, they are now 6, 3 and 9 months and have looked after them on occasions since the oldest was 1.
I worked at Kindred Cambridge for 2 years and another preschool in Cambridge for 6 months whilst I searched for a place to live in Bristol during my time there I got promoted to an additional role of being manager of an after school club!
Can provide references from my previous nursery job and the most recent nannying/babysitting I've been doing as well.
My Qualifications
I have all my GCSEs and was required to do some online training for the nursery I worked at eg, fire safety, safety and hazards, child protection, fgm, food health and safety and am first aid trained (paediatric)
