My Summary

My Experience

Due to taking on an assistant we will have new places coming available shortly.

Registered Provider, certification of registration and insurance is available to see (in the process of changing agency so will have these shortly). We have over twenty years experience of caring and working with children two weeks old and up to the age of 15 years, and are providing wrap around and holiday clubs. We also have over 15 years experience of personal childcare i.e. looking after our own children, nieces and nephews.
We all have full clean driving licences and own a car which is also insured for business use and taxed (details available certificates available upon request). Everyone who lives and works at the premises have enhanced D B S checks carried out by Ofsted.

The premises have ample parking available from drop offs and collection, we have an office/quite room to sleep and relax for the children, a very large room as the main play area and a designated dining table and messy play area within the open plan kitchen. We have a large secure back garden with plenty of wildlife, fishes and birds for the children to learn with.The garden is available to use as free play in the summer months and is sectioned off into two areas a paved area for soft matting to be placed for the small babies and a larger grassed and paved area for the older children.

We follow the E Y F S, ensuring they get the best of both we have kept a nursery ethos alongside the childminding to provide the best care, education and play in a homely, relaxed environment, where parents are more than welcome to come and join in with the activities and workshops.
We observe and plan activities around each child's development and interests and log these on an electronic system which provided a live feed directly to you emails, so you can see what you little on or big one has been up too.
We provide fun activities in and outside the setting in a safe and happy environment. We always put the children's needs first, so if we have something planned and a little ones not up to it we would prospone that activity for another day.
We go to play groups, parks and the farm to feed the animals. We also take the children to the soft play centre and to the local library as we believe books are so important in child's development.

We do lots of messy play for children off all ages, we have a very good selection of resources from dressing, construction,sensory play, small world toys ,sand and water play ,books, to musical instruments from around the world and this is not an extensive list. We are a multicultural setting and have a selection of resources to teach children how we are all different, but that doesn't matter as we all have the same smile.

We have feedback from parents on how they feel their little ones have settled in and how they are developing and also information and suggestions regarding the care aspect for example, meals etc, these are then analysed and findings input into or settings development plan as we like to ensure we are providing outstanding care and education at all times. Parents are also welcome to talk to other parents at the setting.

My Qualifications

We all hold paediatric first aid level 3's and Enhanced DBS's,
Between us we hold
Level 3 qualifications in childcare and childminding courses,
Food hygiene
Safeguarding level 3 and Module 1
Mutli treshold and Prevent duty training.
GDPR.
Development in Babies. We have attended several other courses relating to children's care and development and all these can be seen when you visit the setting.

My Availability

We open from 7.30 am we can provide earlier services however these will be paid at an hour rate above our daily and sessional fee structure. We open all year round, closing for bank holidays and 5 days over the Christmas and New year period, we also have 4 training days throughout the year and these will be on different days wherever possible.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £9.00 per hour
• Childminding from £7.00 per hour

Breakfast and afterchool club fees
Holiday club daily and weekly fees.
and hourly fees to extend around various services.
