About Me
Hi, I am a newly registered Childminder with CACHE level 3 in home based childcare training . I’m a fully qualified NNEB trained Nursery Nurse and mum to two boys, 4 and 8 yrs old, and I love working with children and find it so rewarding and fun. I love to cook and bake and spend time with my family. I enjoy arts and crafts and getting messy with the kids. I have a wide range of toys, books and equipment for all ages.
I provide nutritious home cooked meals and healthy snacks for every child, accommodating dietary requirements, allergies and preferences where possible.
My passion is to work with children in a fun and creative way whilst helping them meet their developmental milestones. I go on trips to farms, local parks, museums, the beach and the library. I have a seven seater fully insured car and have a clean driving licence.
My Experience
I have over 25 years childcare experience, from birth and through to secondary age.
I was a live in Nanny for a family for almost 8 yrs.
I worked in a school EYFS for 14 years.
I have been a baby room leader, a Preschool room leader and a learning co-ordinator in private nurseries.
I have experience working with children with a variety of special needs within main stream settings.
I am also a mum to two boys.
I have paediatric first aid training, have safeguarding and SEN training and I am on the DBS update service.
