UK born, native English speaker with over 25 year’s professional Nanny/Maternity Nurse experience. I have worked on an ad hoc, proxy parenting basis for many Senior Executives and High Profile clients and I am well known and liked.
My Experience
Started in 1998; I have had contact with children of all ages. I have a TEFL qualification and have taught phonics to 3-6 year olds, this is a great way to encourage speech and word building to basic reading. I am an excellent cook and feel that all children need to have a healthy diet and believe if children are well fed, they are happy and function properly.
I am organized, laid back and fair but firm. I love the outdoors and actively find things to do to keep children stimulated and having fun.
Through my role as a Maternity Nurse I have had experience in helping new mothers and newborns with the following:
• Sore nipples, engorgement, breast pain.
• Mastitis, expressing, care of multiples.
• Over supply, thrush, frequent feeds.
• Prolonged feeds, colic, gastric reflux.
• Explosive stools, poor weight gain, weaning.
• Bottle feeding, spoon feeding.
