About Me
Hi, my name is Abi, and I have been a registered childminder for over 5 years for children aged from birth to 12 years old. I have a fun home from home setting with a large garden offering children experience in growing their own fruit and vegetables. I can do pick ups and drop offs to school or playgroups if required.I am a fun loving down to earth person with a passion for ensuring children feel comfortable and at home in my care with lots of encouragement to play and learn. I like to be organised so that children get the best from play and learning experiences i create for them. I feel I am able to help develop children in all areas to help them thrive. I offer childcare in a very welcoming setting with indoor and outdoor play areas with lots of different toys and equipment. Playgroups, outings, and local nature walks are organised weekly to help children socialise and learn in different environments. I offer childcare all year round between Monday and Friday, excluding Wednesdays.
My Experience
I've had over 15 years of experience working with children of all ages.
This includes family support, childrens support worker, community work and home child caring.
I'm also a full time single mum.

Abi has been looking after my son for the last 7 months; we couldn't be any more pleased than what we are. As soon as we stepped foot in Abi's home, we we felt instantly at ease that Edward would be coming to a safe, home-from-home like setting. Our son always looks forward to going in the mornings & we have an effort to get him to leave in the evening! Abi is very organised and a fabulous commutator. We feel like we can talk to our son about his day, even though we weren't there. The activities that she carries out sound fun; with a great mindfulness to fun-based educational learning, also. We have noticed such a step in our Son's development since being with Abi. Little Beanes has recently begun catering food for the children - then menus sound delicious & provide a fabulous range of foods! We recommend Abi to anyone that we can, as we would love others to be able to benefit from the fabulous care that she provides!

Thank you ever so much for your lovely review. We love having Edward here and it's great watching gin develop and thrive.
Abi has been chilminding for my son for nearly a year now and in that time I have been extremely happy with the care he has received and the progress he has made whilst in Abi's care. Abi's home is always welcoming and clean and my son has great fun playing with all the toys available and with the other children in her care. Abi provides a fun range of activities including lots of outdoor exercise. The meals that Abi makes are also much loved by my son and he always comes home happy and very well fed!

Our little girls are so happy at Abi's, always excited to go! She's so soft natured with them and teaching them the right things. Her place is always clean and she keeps girls active and out and around, playgroups including.
Love her little feedback books she writes after every session. Definitely recommend!
