About Me
I have just graduated from University completing my bachelor's degree in Social Work, I am qualified and registered under Social Work England. At the moment I am not looking to go into social work, as I want to explore some jobs working with young people or for the child exploitation team within the London area. I have worked with children since the age of 18. I have great nursery experience, as I worked in a nursery for a year and a half as a nursery nurse assistant and had my own key children. I also have great knowledge and understanding about domestic abuse, I was a domestic abuse support worker based in refuge, working closely with families, women and children who were vulnerable and at extreme risk of violence. I have a real passion when working with children and young people, I want to continue this passion of mine through babysitting, I have dealt with a lot of emotionally difficult cases that has increased my knowledge about safeguarding children. I am reliable and want to enjoy my summer babysitting and I have no issues with building bonds with children, as that comes as an easy skill of mine. I also build really positive rapport with parents and feel that I am trusted to safeguard and nurture children at all times.
My Experience
I am currently working at a private nursery, my previous job was working for an agency childcare company. My two jobs are childcare orientated, which means i have been able to expand my knowledge and skills when working with young children. Throughout the course of my work, I have seen and dealt with challenging behaviour, as well as dealing with babies who may have attachment issues with parents. I’ve worked with babies from the age of 6 months to the age of 3/4 years old. I am aware of a child’s needs, and how those needs can be met accordingly to their current development, and how that is progressing.
I have knowledge and skills working with vulnerable children, I worked with the local council where I was based for University and held my own caseloads under child protection and child in need, when it comes to statutory work I have great knowledge and understanding about it.

My Availability
I am available during the week and weekend, I have graduated so I am looking for the perfect job, therefore to fill my time I do want to look into babysitting and feel confident that I will be great at this new venture of mine.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
due to my experience and qualifications I do charge above £13 but can be flexible if the job is offered to me. Cash in hand.
