About Me
I am a Ofsted Registered Childminder. living in Central Watford with my Husband and 3 lovely and very well mannered kids.
I am happy and outgoing personality and provide a nurturing, happy and safe environment for all children under my care.
An environment geared to learning through
fun and giving children the ability to express themselves freely. I provide care from Home that is welcoming and safe. A place that children feel happy coming to and where Parents/Carers are happy and confident in the knowledge that their childs welfare and happiness is paramount to me.
I provide daily diaries, with pictures giving details of what the children have done during the day. Pictures with paint, lentils, pasta shapes, salt dough decorations, seasonal pictures and home baking are often taken by the children in my care.
My Husband is also a Ofsted registered Childminder and he is also helping me, he has brought his positive, happy, outgoing nature to the care setting and he is a welcome asset to my care service, and help me to give pickup and drop off if needed by parents and kids he is licensed Hackney Carriage Taxi Driver by Watford Council and First aid Trained.
We both have updated DBS.
My Experience
I am working as a child career since 2008 I was working with the special need kids as well under Watford County Council, and have three kids two boys and a girl. I truly believe that there is no better experience than bringing up your own children to be happy and confident individuals.
Parenting is a daily learning experience and we bring all we have learnt and what we are constantly learning to the children our my care. However it is also important to be continually looking at improving your service and keeping up to date with current practices and legislation. Please see my qualifications below.
I love arts and crafts and encouraging creativity in all forms is an important part of the day as is exercise, be it in the park or dance time in the house. Baking, reading and learning through fun also features in our day. I believe that interaction with other children is important as it helps to form valuable social skills and provides lots of fun. We also visit local parks regular basis when possible.

I couldn’t be happier with our childminder. She is absolutely wonderful – my two little girls love her so much and always look forward to spending time with her. They are always excited to go, never complain, and come back home happy and full of smiles. She creates such a warm, safe, and fun environment that makes the children feel loved and cared for. I can see how much effort she puts into engaging them with activities, supporting their development, and making every day special.
It gives me so much peace of mind knowing that my girls are in such good hands. I can honestly say she is not only reliable and professional, but also genuinely kind and caring. We are so lucky to have found her – I couldn’t recommend her highly enough!

Sumera is an amazing childminders for both my son and infant daughter. My son was extremely hesitant to go to any childminders due to a bad experience but now asks me to stay longer with Sumera and gets upset if I pick him up too early! My infant daughter has settled with Sumera so quickly and is eager to go in when I drop her off so I know she is happy there. Sumera has not only been there for the children but myself included- beautiful woman inside and out. I couldn't recommend her more highly!

Sumera has been an incredible support and a real peace of mind whenever we leave our daughter with her.
She provides a warm, safe, and nurturing environment where our child feels happy and settled. It’s clear she genuinely cares and goes the extra mile to make children feel comfortable and engaged, and our daughter always looks forward to her time there.
We feel very reassured knowing our daughter is in such capable hands, and her flexibility is also a great deal.
We would happily recommend her to any parent.

My daughter has been going to Summer for 5 months already. My daughter seems very happy, enjoying, and well fed at her home.
Summer offers pick up and drop off from home and school, which is a great thing for some parents.
Due to my work, some days need extend childcare hours or sort notice childcare , Summer was always forthcoming and understanding.
I can highly recommend Summer and her husband

We’re so grateful to have found Sumera as a childminder for our 2-year-old son. This was his very first experience with a childminder, and he’s usually only comfortable with me, his dad and his sister. Sumera was absolutely wonderful in helping him settle into a completely new environment.
She created such a warm, safe and welcoming space that he quickly began to feel at ease. Under her care, he’s even started learning how to play on his own — something he hadn’t done before. We’re really impressed with her patience, kindness and the way she understands children.
I would highly recommend Sumera to any parent looking for a caring and supportive childminder.

My boy has been with Sumera since he was 9 months old, and he is now 5 years old. Sumera is very patient, kind, and flexible and she keeps me updated on my son's well-being. She teaches the school/nursery curriculum and keeps kids engaged. She is trustworthy and tested! My son continues to visit her on a regular basis. She will always be a part of my boys' lives.

We have been with Sumera over 5 years and I couldn’t recommend her enough.
She has been an incredible support for out family. My son always feels comfortable in her care and has so much fun (he doesn’t want to come back home :) )

Finding Sumera has been such a blessing for our family. She has truly become a second mum to our son, caring for him with so much love, warmth, and patience. It’s clear she treats the children as her own, and that gives us such peace of mind every day. Her wonderful family, including her husband, play a big part in creating such a warm, homely atmosphere where our son feels happy and safe.
