Hello, I'm Alicia. I'm 31yo. I currently work in Canary Wharf and live in Limehouse but the lovely family I currently work for are moving out of the UK. I am hoping to find a new full time (4/5 days) post starting in January but can be flexible on start date.
I am a fan of and currently following (not strictly) the Montessori approach in which I am well-read though not qualified. I am however very open to other childcare philosophies.
I love spending my days with children and value time outdoors, being active whether it be playing, classes, playgrounds, libraries, groups, museums, playdates or just getting lost in the forest and going for a little explore. I love creating new activities and games suited for their likes and growth and take a keen interest in child development. I have a child-centred approach. I like to keep the day screen-free.
The child I currently look after is 2y/o and have been with them since Aug 2022.
The family before were a 6y/o, 3y/o and 6m/o and I was with them from Feb 2019-Aug 2022, my role with them had a strong focus on language development as the children were non-English speaking when I started, I also did reception age homeschooling during lockdown.

Aug2022-present: Full time nanny for 1y/o
Feb 2019- Aug2022: Full time nanny for 6y/o, 3y/o and 6m/o.
2018-2019: Part time nanny for 2 y/o twins.
Before nannying I babysat of the side of my full-time job for 10years.

Up to date pediatric first aid
No formal childcare qualifications.

Available from January 2025 for a full time nanny role.
