My name is Rikki, I am 22 years old and I have been working in childcare for four years now and have a second class honours degree in Early Childhood Studies so I have both the theory and practical knowledge of working with children and assisting them with their development.
I would describe myself as someone with a very nurturing and caring character which is beneficial when working with children. I love for children to be able to explore and have freedom so that they can define themselves and understand the world as much as they can through their experiences. Working with children is something I love and the passion along with the skills I have picked up on the way is vital when caring for and supervising children.
My Experience
I have worked in a variety of different settings such as private nurseries, childminders and nannying and have worked with children that vary in age from newborn to adolescents.
I have experience working with children on the autism spectrum so I understand the importance of having and keeping to a routine.
