About Me
My name is Paola ,I am an Ofsted registered childminder since April 2022 and have been using this platform since 2019 as a Montessori tutor.
I Live in West Wimbledon area with my daughter who is studying for her A-Level exams and is very good around young children. It is a very nice neighbourhood within 10 minutes walking distance from Cannizzaro park, Wimbledon Common and Cottenham Park.
I welcome children of any age, culture and background. I believe in equal opportunities and aim to give all children in my care the opportunity to reach their full potential. Each child will be valued as an individual without racial or gender stereotyping. All children in my care will be encouraged to learn more about their own culture and to learn more about the culture of other children. We will do this in a fun way with sharing books, colouring sheets, cooking and eating food from around the world and celebrating special festivals. I encourage parents to share any special occasions, festivals, or any other information which may enhance the children’s learning and understanding.
I will be providing freshly cooked food daily with lots of healthy choices.
Materials and toys will be rotate and changed weekly and all the activities will be planned and themed around the child interests.
I will keep a record of daily observations of your child’s development with each child having a learning journey book that shows evidence of your child’s progress.
My Experience
I have over 20 years years experience as a Montessori and Primary school teacher with experience working with children in a different settings. I follow EYFS statutory framework and Montessori approach.
I provide an environment where children feel safe, secure and valued so that they can develop their potential through learning and playing.
I am a SEN qualified Teacher
I have been teaching for 7 years as a Montessori teacher in a preschool in Wimbledon town. Before that I also worked as a SEN primary school teacher for 10 years and have taught Italian and French to preschoolers and primary school children.

Paola is simply amazing, with a genuineness and warmth that cant be described until you meet her. As soon as we visited her, we trusted that our child would be in good hands. As first time parents we could not have hoped for a better place to put our daughter.
Paola keeps a clean and organised setting which allows the children the space to focus on activities (both child led and planned). She has created a home away from home, encouraging curious minds. The children play and complete activities together like a little family: Paola teaches them how to interact with each other respectfully and lovingly. Despite an age gap between my child (who started at 6 months) and the other children, they play and help each other. Their interactions encouraged our daughter to speed through her development milestones as she wanted to be grown up like them!
Paola keeps us updated daily with their activities via photos and videos, sharing precious little moments so that we can participate in our daughter’s day and see her grow.
Not to mention home made nutritious food made from fresh ingredients!
We rate Paola very highly.

Paola has been an amazing Childminder for our child. Every day was filled with activities to help the kids development in a fun way. She is always meeting us and our child with a smile makes good and nutritious home cooked meals for them. We never regretted choosing Paola.
She also documented the child’s development and kept us updated with personal photos and comments of what they had done the different weeks.
Can’t recommend Paola enough.

For our daughter and family Paola has been
the best childminder we could have wished for.
From the first meeting with Paola, we understood that the childrens’ development and well-beeing is something she cares a lot for.
Paola is caring, friendly, professional, involved in the kids, shows inclusion and expresses humbleness.
Paola is structuring the days in a meaningful way, enabling ample time for the children to develop, be curious and of course play and dance throughout the day. She is preparing well for activities. Educating and playing at the same time with inspiration from Montesorri. She has a great communication with our daughter and is sharing small and big happenings through pictures, videos and a diary. Letting us take part in our daughter’s days is of big value for us.
The food she prepares is of great variety with meat, chicken, fish and vegetables. New food is introduced in a gentle way with small servings of new things. This has also helped our family to extend our menu at home :)
Our daughter loves going there to meet her little friends and Paola.
We could not feel safer and happier with finding Paola to take care of our daughter.

I was very lucky to find Paola to look after my son who started with her when he was 8 months old. As an experienced Montessori practitioner Paola has helped him flourish in all areas of his development and he has grown in confidence since starting with her. He has so much fun with her learning through play as well as dancing to music and interacting with other children of different ages. He also very much enjoys all the nutritious and delicious food she provides!
Paola is very communicative and I receive many updates on what he is learning and doing throughout the day.
I would not hesitate to recommend Paola to anyone looking for an experienced and attentive childminder in a friendly home setting.

Paola gives our daughter top of the class tutoring with great patience and we appreciate the effort she puts in, highly recommended to anyone in the Raynes Park/Merton/Kingston area
