My Requirements

We're looking for people to fill three separate roles, although there could potentially be some overlap. All roles are on a self employed basis, and year round rather than term time only. Competitive rates of pay offered, please enquire for more details.

- Care for our 10 year old son. He loves cars (especially minis and landrovers!), pasta, and the colour yellow. He is very small for his age, he has disabilities including cerebral palsy so is unsteady on his feet, and he has a medical routine to follow, full training will be provided. He is not educated at school, he has a very structured timetable of tutoring and therapies and the role includes some driving so a valid, clean driving license is essential. Light cleaning in his room and occasional preparing of meals would be expected. He benefits from a very black and white approach and needs someone who can provide firm boundaries but is a joy to work with.

- Care for our 15 year old son both at home and in the community. He has autism and learning difficulties and is educated at home so daytime/weekday hours are required as well as evenings and weekends. He already has a team of carers, so we're looking for the right person to fit in well with the existing staff. Full training will be given, experience of challenging behaviour would be a plus.

- We are also looking for someone to provide household mother's help - laundry folding and putting away, light household tasks (dishwasher, emptying bins etc.), light cleaning, maybe a bit of DIY if you're handy! Hours/days flexible and to be discussed with the right applicant.
