My Experience
I have extensive experience in working with children from ages 0-11. I have worked in nurseries and schools for over 10 years.
I worked previously as a Behavioural Specialist in a primary school for 5 years. This job entailed supporting children within their classroom with both behavioural, educational and emotional needs. This role included supporting children with accessing the school curriculum, while additionally receiving the emotional support they may require.
Further, I have over 8 years experience working as a Nanny and babysitter.
In my most recent position I was the Care Manager of a care home, for autistic adults.
I believe I have acquired the necessary skills over the years to work well with anyone, regardless of their needs/ability.
Most recently, I have made the decision to take the next year out of my career/education to spend quality time with family, and to delve further into my love of art. This has therefore allowed me the necessary time to babysit/nanny.

We have been working with Connie ever since our daughter was 6 months old, supporting me as I went back to work 50%, and then continued to look after our daughter Maddox every Friday plus ad hoc weekends (including over night) and evenings from Maddox turned 1. Connie has been incredible with Maddox and they have built such a strong bond. The only reason why we’re no longer working together is because of our move out of London.
More about Connie: she’s reliable, trustworthy, proactive (always thinks of new and fun things to do with Maddox), she’s kind, patience and also considers development / education in how she interacts.

Reply was quick and very professional. She was very flexible and was helpful enough to accommodate our request. Will ask her next time I would like to use a babysitter as well.

Connie worked as our after school nanny for nearly three years. She looked after my two boys (now 10 and 8) - collected them from school, gave them dinner, helped them with homework and took them to after school clubs. She also developed a strong a nurturing relationship with both boys - playing board games with my youngest, helping to teach my eldest skills around the house like salad preparation to help him develop maturity and resilience. She has a firm and very kind and fair approach to discipline which worked well with my boys. She has moved on to start a family of her own but I would highly recommend her.
