Hey! I'm Rachel, I am a 23 year old Christian and have 11 years of experience volunteering, babysitting and working with children aged between 9 months to 12 years. My childcare style can be described as gentle/respectful with an interest in some areas of Montessori's approach.
My Experience
I was home educated as a child and have always known I wanted to work with children so have been researching and volunteering where possible from a young age.
I qualified as a level 3 childcare practitioner at the beginning of 2022 and have worked in day nurseries, schools and preschools in the Bedford area. I have babysat (day and evening), run my own Sunday school and creche, co run kids church and holiday clubs, volunteered in schools and nurseries, run one on one child led sessions for friends children where we do messy play, baking, walks out and much more and worked as a lunchtime assistant at my local primary school as well as often picking my friends three children up from school often and taking them out during the holidays.
My Qualifications
I am a level 3 qualified nursery practitioner. I have also done many online courses on childcare, Montessori, safeguarding and food hygiene.
My Availability
I am prepared to consider your particular needs, but am unavailable nights and also Sundays all day.
