About Me
I am Natalie I’m 36 years old, married and have 2 beautiful daughters. I am a newly registered childminder with Ofsted but I have been a childminder for 4 years through an Ofsted regulated agency and was graded OUTSTANDING in 2021 and 2022. I decided to become a childminder as during my time working within the early years sector and the research and theories I studied and developed at university I discovered a real passion for learning through exploration and through trial and error. I believe all children are scientists and have a natural desire to explore and know more. As an early years educator part of my role is to provide opportunities for this learning and exploration to take place and to observe the children, listen to their questions and their stories, find what interests them and then provide them with opportunities to explore these interests further. My aim, as a childminder, is to do this while also offering the benefits of a home environment.
My Experience
I’ve been working in education and childcare for 14 years. During this time I have worked in a school where I spent my last 2 years in the setting, in a reception class working from the EYFS. I covered the class when the teacher had planning time and was absent and I planned and delivered my own lessons covering all areas of the EYFS. It was during this time I developed a real passion for early years and learning through exploration. Following this, I started my journey in a nursery setting which I really enjoyed. Within 3 months of starting at the nursery I was promoted to deputy room leader. During my time there I worked throughout the nursery with ages 3 months to 5 years. Most recently, I have open a pre-school locally where I have an amazing team of passionate early years educators that are just as dedicated as I am to Early Education. I am still registered as a childminder and I co-mind with another childminder called Rachel who is registered at my house. Rachel has an immense of experience in early years and is particularly skilled with younger children. I work 3 days at pre-school and 2 at our childminding setting and Rachel is full time at our childminding setting with our younger Pop-Ins.
My Qualifications
• Honours Degree (BAHONS) in Childhood Studies – First
• Level 5 Diploma for the Early Years Senior Practitioner
• OCR Level 2 & 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (this was completed over 2 years and covered a wide area of Child Development and working with children ages 0-18 years) – obtained at Adult Education Centre
• GCSE English Grade C - obtained at Adult Education Centre
• GCSE Maths Grade C – obtained at Adult Education Centre

My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
- Childminding from £7.00 per hour
-Our childminding fees are £5.50 per hour (Mon-Fri), £7 per hour Saturdays and £9 per hour Sundays.
-Our hourly rate includes drinks, snacks, breakfast, packed lunch style lunch and a light tea and all resources and outings for all children.

Timothy had only med a handful of people, due to covid, before he went to Natalies Popins. He settled very quickly and loved going every day to see Natalie, Rachel and his friends. Natalie and Rachel did a fantastic job. A lot of care and attention was given to each and every kid. Thank you very much Natalie and Rachel for all you have done.

Natalie is so caring, kind, organised and loving! I felt so comforted knowing my 16 month old was in great hands. Her place is so clean and all set up for children and she puts so much effort into ensuring your kids have a wonderful time. I got pictures throughout the day and she is just a lovely person! Couldn’t recommend her enough!

Natalie is a fantastic, caring childminder, she has been looking after my children for over a year now and I cannot recommend her enough, she always goes above and beyond with my two, she is always keeping them entertained with things she knows they like, i.e crafting, they love going there and come back happy. There is a dedicated play area and toilet aswell as the normal rooms.
She caters to their dietry requirements and always updates me of their behaviour and any issues healthwise etc asap, we have never had anyone beside family and nurseries look after our children so it was a big leap to trust someone we didnt know and in their home, and I can honestly say im so glad we did !-she has accomodated my hours and last minute requests when she can, she pays particular attention to choking hazrds like cutting grapes and the little details like hooping the scarf for safety- where she has children she looks out for all these little details automatically and that is very reassuring for me, I know my children are safe and happy in her care.

Natalie has helped me through the process of settling my 2 year old with her. I think we did about 8 settling in sessions in the end. I honestly didn't think he would settle as he is diagnosed as Autistic and is very anxious. I can honestly say she is Magic - he seems to genuinely enjoy going to her and doesn't even cry now when I leave. I cannot recommend her enough for her professionalism and kindness. I love the reports she does for him and she has even got him to try new foods which is a miracle. She also started an assessment for him which genuinely helped the pediatrician when we went for diagnosis.

My girls had a great time with Natalie. They received Outstanding care and haven't stopped talking about Reggie. They are really looking forward to starting with Natalie properly in September. She's made me feel very relaxed and at ease about leaving the girls and has a lovely home from home setting with a playroom. We've visited 3 times now and each time has been great fun for the girls. Thank you and we look forward to September.

Natalie looked after our 2 year old little boy very last minute for us when all our other childcare options were unavailable. Rory instantly liked Natalie and I felt at ease leaving him with her. She sent me photos throughout the day to keep us updated on his wellbeing, and made a father’s day card and a little booklet of what Rory had done during his day with Natalie. I cannot thank Natalie enough for being so helpful and really putting my mind at ease at wasn’t an easy decision to leave my little boy. She provided great childcare and Rory hasn’t stopped talking about her or “Reggie” the dog since. Thankyou for helping us out and taking outstanding care of our little boy. ☺️ I would 100% recommend Natalie and if I am in the area again would definitely be using her childcare services.
