My Summary
About Me
My name is Madi and I’m a special needs professional, specialized in Autism.
I am a really enthusiastic person who wants to give and share my best resources in a teaching and learning environment. I consider myself a hard-working, flexible and active person prepared to pick up new skills and put in practice all I have learned. In addition to my academic and work experiences, I would like to point out that I am a very patient person. I am good at listening and trying to find the best solution to any problem that can emerge.
Teaching has been my passion since I was younger. I particularly enjoy seeing the positive results of my interaction when children show more confidence in themselves and make progress in their work. I also find extremely satisfying to know that I have helped my pupils to understand key concepts and to achieve success in a field they have been struggling in.
My Experience
Having completed a Teaching Module and a Degree of General Psychology, I have spent most on the time doing volunteering in a range of environments and working as a supply Teaching assistant and Teacher in different special schools in London.
Since end of June 2017 until end of July of the same year I volunteered in a Primary School helping the teacher in the class. This was my first step in education here in London and it was a very enriching experience and sometimes changeling because I worked mostly in nursery classes. In September 2017, I started to work as a supply Teaching Assistant and as a supply Teacher in different special schools around London. As a TA, I worked mostly at: Hatton Special School, Riverside Bridge School, Trinity Special School, The Brook and ELIS Marsh School. In December 2017 I had the opportunity to work as a teacher at Manor School until February 2018. Since September 2019 I'm working as a class teacher at The Avenue School.
My Qualifications
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) / National College for Teaching & Leadership
Graduate membership - MBPsS / The British Psychological Society
