About Me
Children:
- boy born 2023 (3 months premature)
- girl born 2018 (Awaiting Autism diagnosis / EHCP)
- girl born 2019 (Awaiting Speech referral)
- No pets
- Parking on driveway with EV charger you may use to charge your car if you have an electric vehicle.
- Online family calendar to follow - routines, key dates, school events etc.
- returning to my studies on 4th September 2025 : PhD
- I am already working from home remotely so will be studying and working online.
- I require a Nanny who is loyal and resilient and will commit long term.
- I prefer for the children to be cared for in their own home rather than after school clubs and nurseries where their days are too long and over stimulating for them. Whilst EYFS, general schooling and Yr 1 socialisation is important there are lots of local groups and social events to attend during the day with the youngest and clubs after school for the older children. Children spend so much time in school in their lifetime they need time to be children and play and be at home or in a club to learn something new.
- I would value a nanny who can speak a second language to the children.
- I will be at home full time working with the odd meeting out on location, so would appreciate the flexibility in your schedule for 24/7 proxy parenting (if I have to work away) and willing to work additional hours if you are available.
- Our family thrives on a set routine for meal times, wake times and bed times, and high expectations of behaviour with manners and respect and of course fun! We focus on reading and doing homework every single day and reading logs updated to reflect this. We do not just spend reading the normal school books sent home, we have an extensive library of books for which the children enjoy to read.
- We do not encourage screen time and we encourage talking at the table, emotional support and positive reinforcement in making good choices.
- Must have experience with managing 3 young children at any one time.
- Must have appropriate business car insurance to transport young children. Can add you onto the family car insurance but I will also need the car during the day for meetings.
- Open to a live in Nanny as we have a spare room with a double bed either full or part time or to save on commuting / making travelling easier as and when. Open to a nanny with their own children / child to bring to work as I appreciate that it is hard work trying to find suitable employment and be a Mother.
- The role I do at home is confidential, so require someone with respect for privacy and enjoy a well 'managed' household.
- I would like someone who could commit to two evenings a week so I could return to RAF ATC but can discuss this in person. Days to be confirmed.
- Definitely need someone that is willing to do proxy parenting for whilst I have two operations. Recovery for operation number 1 is one week but can carry on as usual. Operation 2 required 12 weeks NO lifting at all, so unable to support the Nanny with tasks and will require extra support and hours to support me with family life.
