About Me
My name is Emma and I’m an ofsted registered childminder in the winstanley area of Wigan. We are a family of 7, myself, my husband, my 3 children aged 12, 10 and 10 and two step-children aged 13 and 10.
My Experience
I provide a welcoming, caring and nurturing home from home setting where every child is treated as a unique individual. Within my setting children have the ability to play, learn and have fun in a safe environment exploring the resources I provide. I have 2 playrooms, a large outside area and we have lots of opportunities to socialise and learn about the world. We visit soft play areas, toddler groups, farms, museums, aquariums, pet shops, parks, go on nature walks, fruit picking, the library plus any other opportunities that arise.
My Qualifications
I take my role as a childminder seriously and have completed all relevant training courses including first aid, safeguarding and food hygiene and keep up-to-date on training courses as they arise.
