Dear parents,
I am sadly saying goodbye to the amazing family I've been working with for over a year because unfortunately, they're moving out of London. So, I am ready for my next adventure to start around October (with the flexibility to start earlier).
My name is Olivia, I'm 31 years old and originally from Brazil (with an Italian passport), I have a Psychology degree and over 10 years of experience working with children (4 months to 14 yrs). My first language is Portuguese but I also speak English and Spanish. And I am looking for a live-out/full-time position (flexible with hours/days).
I love children and I really enjoy spending time working with them. Kids are honest and hearty and I’ve learned how to respect the individuality of each one. I’m being honest when I say I would take care of them as if they were my children.
My Experience
Currently,
- Private Nanny - Over one year in sole charge of a girl aged 3 years and 10 months and another girl aged 1 year and 10 months planning a daily routine for a toddlers so that they are safe and developing activities inside and outside the house, communicating with parents and all other child-related activities.
Also, I have experience with children from 4 months to 14 years old or more, either as babysitting or nannying. I also have experience providing psychological support in clinics and hospital settings; as a teacher assistant in an international Montessori school for a class of children aged 1-2.5 years old; providing psychological and educational support for children with special needs (Experience with autism disorder and a good knowledge of AAC (Argumentative and Alternative Communication) based on the PODD method); doing educational activities in NGOs.
