I am 23 years old, working in Secondary Education as a SEN Teaching Assistant. I love animals, arts and crafts and reading.
My Experience
I have experience working in both Secondary Education and Early Years. And have also volunteered in primary education and local toddler groups. I have SEN experience, supporting children and families in Early Years with taking the first steps in getting a diagnosis and additional support for their child. I have also supported children with Autism, ADHD and Dyslexia with social skills, reading and phonics and helping to build a toolkit of strategies to help with emotional regulation.
My Qualifications
I hold a level 4 certificate for Early Childhood Studies and have completed safeguarding, fire safety, and online safety training. As well as holding a paediatric first aid certificate and having completed Level 1 Makaton training. I am looking to continue with Makaton training and become a qualified teacher.
My Availability
Available 5pm to 9pm Monday to Friday, and 9am to 9pm Saturdays and Sundays. I work term time only, so during school holidays I have more availability daytime Monday to Friday. I can do overnights when needed, and I am happy to do later evenings and earlier mornings for the right family.
