About Me

I am a mature mother of 2 grown up children, who now have babies of their own. My daughter lives in London with her husband and 2 year old son, soon to be Mummy of another, and my son lives locally with his expectant partner. My experience with children goes back long before having my own. I have been a nanny in my earlier years, who formed bond's and continue to with my charges. They are all now parents themselves. I raised 2 exceptional adult's, single parented. And live in a quiet country side cottage, alone with my dog's and family visit often. That said, based on the perils of the world in which we live, I travel to London, and have done so since Lennon was born, and my daughter returning to work, in office one day a week that being a Wednesday. My daughter like I and most Mummy's doesn't want to leave her most treasured of all being's with a child minder, especially whilst being so young and unable to talk. So who better than his nanny to take care of him. I understand that some aren't as blessed as in having this option, through whatever reason, and so therefore require a babysitter, although un-related, just as protective responsible and reliable. I'm an advocate for the well being of children, and guarantee no harm would or has ever, come to any child in my care. I am though pretty redundant, due to the distance between both me and my here and now grandson, and my son's little one literally only being a size of a pip, at this point. To be honest, my son and his partner are not the going out type, so I think my redundancy on weekend evening's is going to be permanent, with occasional exception's. I house keep weekdays, and would like to earn some extra by offering an evening baby sitting service. I am 55, I neither smoke or drink. I'm healthy, active, sincere, trustworthy and dependable. And am looking for evening's only due to work and home commitments. I'm happy to potter or do a little bit of ironing whilst watching over your little cub's. I'm maternal by nature and above all kind and am absolutely happy for anyone considering to hire me, to check, re-check on all references provided. In truth, hiring a trustworthy babysitter/ child minder is thee most important thing you'll do, so I expect nothing less.
