About Me
I am 25 years old. I am a student social worker, in my first year of my degree. I also currently work as a special needs classroom assistant in a school for deaf and visually impaired children. I am also a carer for a special needs child and a nanny for their younger siblings. I have a 2:1 in a degree of Education with special inclusive needs. I love to work with children of all ages and encourage them to meet their full potential. I am outgoing, positive and very reliable.
My Experience
I have carried out work placement in many schools and loved this. I have looked after many children through babysitting. I have worked with children and young people with special needs from 3-19 years old. I love doing this, and find it very rewarding. I am a degree graduate of education with special needs currently and that is what I hold most of my experience in. Seeing children with a disability reach goals or complete daily tasks, really makes my day and makes me so happy and willing to help them to do more. I have worked with children with all special needs, such as cerebral palsy, tracheotomy, autism, Down syndrome etc.
