About Me
I am a parent of two children aged 1 and 5. I offer a secure, homely environment with activities such as arts and crafts, messy play etc. I also have a large garden which backs onto the local park and extensive woodland. Children are given the opportunity to mix within the local community as we attend various toddler groups throughout the week and go on trips to the beach, park, woods. There are also opportunities throughout the year to go further afield to local farms, pick your own, Hastings Sealife center, Eastbourne Miniature railway, etc.
My Experience
I have been an Ofsted registered childminder since 2019 and am a member of the Professional Association for Childcare and Early Years (“PACEY”). I keep up-to-date with changes by carrying out regular training. I am also an EYEE provider to offer 2, 3 and 4 year old funded places from September 2019. I also accept employers voucher schemes.
I'm a qualified teacher and I taught in a Primary School for 5 years before deciding to register as a child minder. I'm a big believer in children learning through exciting and engaging experiences as I believe this builds a child's confidence, resilience and independence. Childhood should be jam packed and full to the brim with fun memories and getting extremely messy! My own children are aged 5 and 1 so I have a wide range of experience ranging from birth up to year 6 in primary school!

My Availability
My main hours are 8am - 6pm but I do work outside of these hours and and can be flexible depending on the needs of the parents. I can provide before and after school care and collection and pick ups from the local primary school that my daughter attends.
