My Experience

Hi! My name is Shivani and I'm 30 years old. I currently live and work in Newmarket.

I consider myself to be caring, reliable and trustworthy. I enjoy cooking healthy dishes and love to experience new things, so I am hoping this will benefit the children in my care.

I currently work as practitioner in a local nursery during the week (finishing at 6pm) but I am looking for some ad hoc babysitting work in the local area. I am open to staying overnight and being with your child/ren past midnight if needed.

I previously worked in a Children’s Centre, where I worked with children and their families to provide a safe, encouraging and stimulating environment for them to learn and develop skills according to the EYFS. I facilitated stay and play sessions, baby groups, music groups and messy play session to name a few.

I have 10 years experience of caring for children up to the age of 7 years. During this time, I have worked in a nursery setting and also have been an ad hoc babysitter for multiple families in my spare time, with references available on request.

I hold a Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification, Level 7 Early Years Teacher Status and a BSc Honours degree in Psychology. I am DBS checked, safeguarding and Paediatric first aid trained. I do not drive but I am able to get to the surrounding areas of Newmarket easily.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £10.00 per hour

£10-£12 an hour (negotiable)
