Ocean Day Nursery have always been given fantastic reports from the CIW (Previously CSSIW) since opening. All of our reports are published on the CIW website.
All of our nursery staff are highly trained, Enhanced CRB checked and extremely passionate about childcare. Every area is lead by an experienced section leader. At Ocean Day Nursery you can rest assured that your children are learning, playing and growing in the best possible hands.
Our Unique Layout
Our nursery is an amazing open-plan childcare facility designed especially to feel spacious and airy, giving the most natural light possible. Our unique open-plan approach still has segregated areas for different ages, but are not solid brick walls. Your children will be able to see and interact with others whilst still being perfectly safe. We have 4K CCTV installed with double electronic entry/exit gates. The building is air-conditioned so we're always the perfect temperature.
A huge benefit of our Nursery is being attached to Mambo Play Centre. The children get to benefit by visiting regularly with the nursery staff where they can really burn off some energy and have the time of their lives!

Our Fees
- Childcare from £38.00 per morning
- Childcare from £38.00 per afternoon
- Childcare from £59.00 per day
- Childcare from £265.50 per week
Morning and afternoon fees are £38 each.
Full day sessions are £59 per day.
Full week contract: 5th day at half price!
10% sibling discount.
Free settling in sessions and we are registered with the 30 free childcare hours.
We also accept voucher payments. All daycare fees include meals and snacks, wipes and nappies etc.

If you are considering putting your baby or child in this nursery, think very carefully before doing so, the manager was extremely rude after l called up to complain about my daughter's place at the nursery being cancelled, no voicemail was left with me prior to this decision being made, l had verbal abuse and no apology given from the assistant manager at the time. I was due to return back to work the following week, so was desperate for childcare to be in place fairly quickly, so the nursery left me in a real predicament at the time. When collected my daughter from her first settling in period in a screaming state and no phone call was made to attempt to ask me to come and get her from the nursery (apparently they could not read my phone number correctly) she was left in a wet nappy for over an hour and a half and her bottle was not given to her (untouched in her changing bag), l did make a report to CSIW about this also. I complained to the manager, only to be ignored by phone and email, when you have an issue to address with Ocean Day care they fail on customer service and satisfaction completely. I have received no apology to date from the nursery, l then later discover that the manager had made a complaint about me to a social worker! shocking behaviour.. would never entertain using them, I wouldn't of felt comfortable leaving my daughter there, so it was a blessing in disguise her place got cancelled at the time.
