I am currently taking a gap year before I start my masters in Cognitive Behavioural therapy. I believe I have all skills, qualities and experiences that are needed to become a nanny. I am well educated, modest, patient and reliable. I believe I can help a family with anything that they need whilst their child/children are under my care. My Experience
Nanny // London // January 2015 to July 2017 Once leaving secondary school I decided to look for a part time job to start saving some money for university. A family friend works full time as a carer for the agency so needed a extra hand to look after her son who a was aged 6. I had the responsibility of looking after him every weekend and some weekday evenings.
During March 2018 to January 2019 I had the opportunity of working with a Portuguese family of four in north London. I was responsible of looking after the two youngest children aged 9 and 4. My responsibilities were picking them up from school, helping with homework, cooking meals, organising play dates and entertainment. Although I am still in contact with the family the reason for my leave was because they decided to move back to their homeland Portugal.
April 2019/2020- Assisting a family occasionally with their 9year old daughter. Picking up from school and occasional babysitting.
April 2019-2020- a family from Childcare.co.uk with a 6month new born employed me full time. Roles included, bathing, hygiene, daycare activities, swimming etc.
March 2022- caring for an 10month old part time.
March 2023- Working with a family and nannying a 7 year old and 5 year old occasionally
June- babysitting 3 year old and twin boys occasionally
