Hello,
My names Katie and I am a fully qualified OFSTED registered childminder who has always taken a keen interest in child development and child care. My dedicated approach ensures that I am fully up to date with all recent and relevant training courses to do with OFSTED so that your child will progressively develop in my warm, kind and nurturing environment. I am a setting who loves to take the children out as much as possible as I find they learn that way best. I take them regularly out and about, whether that's trips to the beach, forest, walks and exploring the local surrounding areas or further afield where I know its a place the children will love. (all Inc in my price) . Also love stay and play sessions where the children can enjoy and play with others.
I have a nice size, fully enclosed and secure back garden where children can get their hands dirty in a spacious environment. This consists of slides, seesaw, sand pit and water play, bikes and scooters etc for children to play with in a safe setting. The children have easy access to my garden so they can choose freely what they would like to do.
My structured daily routine and development programme ensures I follow the EYFS standards, plus I have a wide variety of resources to help the children develop in the 7 key areas of learning. I provide healthy home cooked meals and cater for all children's dietary needs.
I am a mother of 2 wonderful children, a 11 year old and a 16 year old who both attend Moorside primary and High school, so I can provide before and after school club, drop offs and pick ups from here.
Bruno is our very loving, cuddly Bernese mountain dog, he enjoys all the attention he receives from the children of all ages.

Our younger joined Katie in Covid, when I return to work as nurse early. Delilah first day, went amazingly and no tears ( from her but I cried) so always felt reassured that she was being looked after well and her safety been maintained. We were from a family of animals- so I enjoy her been around animals!
She went to Katie till starting school in September 2022 from April 2020.
I can’t thank Katie enough. We miss katie x

My little girl has been going to Katie for the last 3 years and absolutely loves it.
Katie is the best with all of the children and often takes them out for day trips to different places. She cares for them like they are her own and my little girl absolutely adores her.
When the time comes for her to leave next month we are all going to be extremely sad and I will be recommending Katie to everyone.

My son William has been going to Katie's for almost 2 years. He is so settled there, he loves going to see Katie and all his friends. We get regular photo updates of his activities through the day, and Katie has been so flexible around our work arrangements.
She ensures they get plenty of outdoor play opportunities and takes them to playgroups regularly too. Katie supported us with potty training so my son managed that with no problems at all.
I can't recommend Katie highly enough. My William will be very sad to leave when the time comes.

oh gosh, dont bring the leaving aspect up 🥺, sad moment when that happens. Its been my absolute pleasure taking care of him and seeing him grow up to the amazing little boy he is. ❤
Our child settled in really quickly and has thrived at Katie's. He looks forward to feeding the rabbits and Katie strikes a really good balance between routine and educational trips/new experiences. Highly recommended.

My sons been with Katie now for a few weeks and I can honestly say I’ve never seen him happier! I was really nervous about leaving him with someone but Katie was so warm and reassuring when we first met and she has been amazing since! She’s like a second mother to kobie and I can’t thank her enough for everything she does! Her beautiful dog Poppy is so friendly and great around the children so do not worry about her! I genuinely feel so secure and happy when Kobie’s at Katie’s because I know he’s being looked after properly! He’s come on leaps and bounds since joining such a happy boy! Thank you for everything katie❤️Xxxx
