Hello, my name is Janis, and I am 34 years old. I am a mother of two children: a 12-year-old pre-teen and an almost 6-year-old avid Minecraft player.
While I am currently learning to drive, I am proficient in commuting via public transport and utilizing Uber. I have strong connections to Windsor and the surrounding areas, including Maidenhead and Bracknell.
My 12-year-old often tells me that I am quite humorous, as I frequently make her laugh. Though I suspect she might be laughing at me rather than with me! I have a background in Customer Service and Administrative Support, which has equipped me with experience in structured environments. Additionally, I enjoy cooking, baking, meditating on scriptures, exploring new places, outdoor adventures with my children, drawing, painting, reading, and dancing.
I am an open book and happy to share more about myself over a warm brew.
Becoming a mother for the second time in 2018 has been a rewarding experience. Applying the lessons learned from my first child made nurturing a newborn easier and truly enjoyable. My younger child is now almost 6, and every moment has been informative and delightful. I am grateful for the opportunity to raise two wonderful children.
My experience as a mother provides a unique advantage, making me a strong candidate for this role. I understand the needs and requirements for children, even though they may vary. I am an organized multitasker who believes in routine, as it can simplify life. My motto is FUN: Fairness, Understanding, and Nurturing. Fairness for both children and adults leads to better understanding, which allows us to express ourselves more effectively, nurturing our emotions, strengths, and dreams.
I am adept at following specific instructions, so any special requirements you may have will not be an issue for me.

My Experience
• I am a mother have been for 12 years my youngest is about to turn 6 this year.
• I have been babysitting since I was 15 years old and still do regularly for couples & parents (whom have now become very good friends) whilst they get a time for a date night, or catch up with their friends. Maybe do some shopping or just to enjoy some quiet, peace and bliss for a few hours.
• Offering school pickups from Homer First, Dedworth and Hilltop Primary.
• Childcare setting is my home at the moment please feel free to book a day to come round and view my home. Additionally happy to help within your household setting.
I was a childminder from 2014 - 2015 I then switched to office work as my oldest child had started reception from 2016 - 2023.
• I have 2 years experience with school pickups from St Luke’s in Maidenhead. I’ve since relocated to Dedworth in Windsor.
• I have a Level 2 in Health & Social Care. I am familiar with EYFS, Safeguarding, I am learning Spanish, I speak basic French and I am fluent in English as it is my first language. In September I will be studying L3 Social Sciences and Education.

• I am happy to follow any routine you have in place
• will encourage plenty of imaginative expression through drawing, costumes, role play and books of their choice.

• happy to help with getting them settled for bed time.

*please note I cannot do school drop offs due to having two of my own that I need to take to school.
*please be advised I can not do any household chores I only specialise in childcare so I can tidy up after your children, cook and clean for and after your children. If you need their rooms tidied I can do so. I can do laundry for your children. Any additional household chores come at an extra charge.
My Qualifications
I have completed a course in Health & Social Care Level 2 at Langley College.
Further more will be joining a course for Social Sciences & Education
End goal is to get my degree in Behavioural Psychology of Children.

My Fees

NannyJae is really the best babysitter ever. We miss her so much! She bonded straight away with our little one and they had loads of fun at their playtimes, with playing in and outdoor, singing reading vista on the playground. As well our baby was in the best hands for night time babysitting with her. We sadly moved but hope to see her again. Lots of love&hugs from us xx

We were travelling from overseas to the UK for a wedding. Nanny Jae watched our 18month old daughter for two evenings. My daughter bonded with Jae immediately. I did not have any concerns with my daughter in Jae's care. She was responsive via text, she sent photo updates, she was able to manage challenging behaviours and emotional outbursts. I wish I lived closer to Jae so I could use her services more often.

Janis is an absolute superstar. My son loves going to her after school, she is always prompt for school pick ups and keeps me updated throughout the day with pictures of their adventures to the local parks. She provides a safe, clean, warm, and most importantly fun environment and I know my son is well taken care of with her.

Janis has been helping me and my husband with my one year old twins on and off from October 2020, and we recently asked her to help us in the evening on a permanent basis. She sometimes brings her two children, which we welcome, and my boy twin is in love with Janis’s daughter so we are planning a wedding :-D She helps me feed them and change them for bed, she read books to them and sings songs, they enjoy her company. She also helps me tidy up the room and wash the children’s dishes and does it very well. I only had experience with Janis in a mother’s help role (so her helping me with the children in my presence). All in all, I thoroughly recommend Janis.
