About Me
Full-time working mum needing SEN childcare, wanting to return to midwifery degree next year for final year.
My Requirements
I am looking for some childcare for my 6 year old son with ASD and PDA. He is currently in mainstream school but awaiting an EHCP. He needs quite close supervision especially with other children but he is a chatty and sweet boy. He loves dinosaurs, sensory play and being active. I am looking for some holiday childcare as I work full time and wraparound care from September 2024. Ideally childcare between 8am and 6pm. He currently attends school in Hoole and we live in Northwich. I commute to Blackpool 3 days a week for work. I hope to return to my midwifery degree final year next spring 2025 which involves shift work blocks and university study blocks. If anyone can accommodate him over school holidays and wrap-around care please get in touch.
I would like him to have a chance to build a relationship with a carer and have a long term arrangement which would give me the support I need to enable me to finish my degree. Currently some driving for school runs would be required (fuel costs can be negotiated) but I expect he will be moving to a school closer to where we live. For information: I live on a canal boat. Childminder or nanny would need to be Ofsted registered.
