My name is Elana, I live in new moston with my 2 daughters Cora 10 and Darla 9
I am a professional, caring, enthusiastic childminder, and offer a warm, fun filled family home, where all children are encouraged to have a go and take part in everything.
As a childminder I follow the EYFS (early years foundation stage) and ensure the children’s 7 areas of learning are met by following the child’s interests.
Planning for them and delivering the teaching through play activities.
My aim is to get children ready for school, helping them with their personal, social and emotional development, ensuring they are good communicators and have a good physical development skills,
And I will keep parents/carers updated with our daily activities and outings.
We have a number of local sure start centres that we can visit, there are local parks, library, swimming baths and indoor play areas.
My Experience
I have a current safeguarding children certificate and paediatric first aid certificate and keep my training updated when needed.
I have years of experience in looking after children, I have attended a childminding course and have a full DBS check.
