I am Masters graduate, currently working as a Production Coordinator in Liverpool.
I have 8 years of experience as a babysitter, working with children of various ages, from infants to pre-teens. During this time, I have developed a strong understanding of child development and know how to create a fun yet structured environment that promotes learning and creativity. I enjoy organising activities like arts and crafts, outdoor games, and reading time, which help children grow both socially and cognitively.
In addition to keeping children entertained, I am skilled in meal preparation, light housekeeping, and helping with homework. I take pride in my ability to establish a routine that helps children feel secure, while maintaining open communication with parents to ensure all their needs are met.
My Experience
My experience began aged 15, looking after 2 little girls aged 3 and 5 for a few hours every week.
During my time at University I looked after 2 little boys several times a week, whilst their parents were at work, my duties included picking them up from school and doing a variety of activities with them. This included helping them with school work, playing their choice of sports and drawing and colouring. Similarly, I looked after a 5 year old girl several times a week for a year.
I have also worked in a nursery for a short period of time, assisting the staff with the various educational activities, alongside supervising nap time and meal time.
