I am a 23 year old female living in London and would best describe myself as bubbly , confident and always positive. I always ensure that I my energy is always positive in everything I do as I feel your energy could children pick up on energy. I have a level 3 practitioner qualification and am currently looking to work into the nannying world as I love working with children and would love to pursue career in childcare.
My Experience
My childcare experience began within a nursery in shoreditch (Noah's Ark) where I was able to gain necessary skills and gain crucial knowledge about children.The children's ages within the nursery started from 3 months to 4 year old. My daily role at the nursery consisted of me supporting and feeding the children during breakfast/lunch/tea;this consisted of milk and meal prepping. The role also required me to set up activities that enhance the children's learning and development but is also selected for the children's individual interests which I had picked up through my observations. The children had set nap times which I ensured I offered as much support as some of the children required extra support and needs.The children didn't always have a happy start at the nursery and so it was my job to use the skills i already have to settle in as many children as we had(sometimes ? at a time) and ensuring im supporting the child's need first.I found working in a nursery very rewarding as working with children is a passion of mine but also because building a very close bond with the parents became rewarding too(some of which I am still in contact with).
I am also a babysitter for several children from my previous nursery and recommendations. The babysitting hours have varied and have been during the weekend or in the evenings. The children have varied from the ages of 7 months to 6 years old; would babysit 1 or 2 children at a time (I have also babysitted a set of twins).
My Qualifications
I have a level 3 practitioner qualification that I gained by training for 18 months. I also have tons of experience in babysitting full days and evenings which I began when I started at the nursery I trained for. I gained a very close bond with the parents and children which then led me to babysit for them every now and then.
My Availability
Full time weekdays and some babysitting is fine too. Occasional weekends to work is also fine with me.
