About Me
Hello, I am an Ofsted registered Childminder, and I operate under the name True Sparks Childcare. With extensive experience as a mother and high school teacher, I've successfully raised two adult children. As a swimming teacher for kids aged 6 months and older, I'm deeply involved in creating a nurturing environment.
Being a qualified teacher, I aim to offer a home-like atmosphere where every child feels comfortable. I provide a variety of educational and enjoyable activities, along with a diverse range of age-appropriate toys.
Our activities often include walks to Heaton Park, conveniently located within a ten-minute walk.
With over two decades of experience in schools and childcare, I believe the crucial stage of child development begins early.
My goal is to empower parents in nurturing happy, healthy, and intelligent children.
My Experience
My experience is oriented towards building children up in an extra curricular and joyful environment, this includes private tutoring, swimming lessons, outdoor activities and life skills. My aim is to bring all of this together in one and deliver a tailored service that will adhere to each parents ideal needs.
At True Sparks, the activities we provide are:
-Academic (lessons, tutorials, 1 to 1.)
-Vocational activities (day trips, cooking, swimming, gardening.)
-Special activities (charity fundraisers, talent shows, hairdressing, treasure hunts, enterprise, fun runs etc.)

My Availability
I have places available for before and after school pick up and drop off. Daytime places, also, I have places for weekends and overnight care. I am now accepting children for the summer holiday Monday to Saturday with Flexibility to suit parents who require it.

I couldn’t be happier with the care Mercy provides for my 19-month-old daughter. From the very first day, Mercy has been incredibly understanding, flexible, and attentive to our needs. My daughter absolutely loves her time with Mercy—so much so that when I come to pick her up, she often doesn’t want to leave! It’s clear that she feels safe, happy, and loved in Mercy’s care.
What impresses me most is how Mercy creates such a warm and nurturing environment. My daughter is always excited to see her and constantly asks me to take her to “aunty’s house". It’s such a relief as a parent to know that she is not only being well looked after but is genuinely enjoying her time and building such a wonderful bond. I’m truly grateful for the care, love, and attention that Mercy provides, and I highly recommend her to any parent looking for a trustworthy and exceptional childminder.

Your daughter along with the rest of the precious children that attend my setting breath a wonderful breath of live and sunshine into my life and it is my great pleasure and privilege being their childminder Beas well as ensuring that your children are happy and safe, it is also most important to me that all the parents feel at ease with a peaceful mind that their precious children are safe and well cared for. 🥰
It was our first time leaving the kids with someone else outside the family and we were a bit nervous but as soon as we seen an talked with Mercy we knew the girls are going to be in very good hands. The feeling we have when we’re bringing the girls to her is like we bring the kids to grandma. She is very loving and caring and the girls like her very much , they are 5 years old and 10 months old . Overall we are very pleased with everything ! Xx

was very professional and stayed in touch with me via text to let me know that my twins was doing well throughout the day. She was so genuine and a true natural with children
