About Me
Hello Families! My name is Bonnie, I’m 18 years old and I am currently studying a Level 3 Apprenticeship as a Teaching Assistant at a primary school just outside of Dunstable. I am a fun, friendly, enthusiastic and nurturing person who has a passion for childcare and children’s development, as well as making a positive, fun and safe atmosphere for all children.
My Experience
I am currently working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school whilst gaining a level 3 qualification. I work closely with year 4 & 5 but have spent time with all year groups, from reception to year 6. 4+ years babysitting experience around various ages and children’s personality’s, basic SEN experience and understanding as my younger sister is Neurodiverse, I did my school work experience with a Nanny. Duties including meal preparation and supervising feeding time, support with homework, collecting them from school, taking them to their after-school activities and hobbies, bathing them, support around bedtime and helping them maintain their normal routine. During my week of work experience we took the children to a theme park and planned the day accordingly to ensure safety and needs of the children were met.

I have a distinction in Level 2 Child Development
