My Requirements

My children are aged 9 and 11 and live with me on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and for a half day on Saturday. I need someone to assist with taking them to and from school, cooking for them, feeding, dressing, general housekeeping and ensuring they are organised ready for school days. The children live with their mother on the other days.

I am open to this role being split across two different nannies (eg one morning, one afternoons) as the day needs to start at 7am Thurs and Fri (and 8am on Sat) and the evening finishes at 7-7:30pm (Weds, Thurs & Fri) when the children are ready for bed.

My 9 year old has Cerebal Palsy and quadriplegic spasticity, which means for him, he uses a wheelchair and cannot walk. His speech is good and can communicate well, his mental awareness and ability is very good and in line with his age. He does need a level of manual handling but we are gradually altering things around to reduce as much of this as we can. He attends an incredible specialist school, Treloars in Alton, Hampshire which is around 40-60mins traveling time depending on traffic. His school day is 9am-3pm. He has a driver to take him to school in the mornings, but he needs collecting from school in the afternoons - and on Thursdays he finishes school early to attend a specialist physio in Basingstoke.

My 11 year old attends school in Ascot about 5mins away, and has an 8:30am to 4pm school day. She may attend some after school clubs, as yet these days haven't be confirmed for the autumn term. She is likely to need encouragement to sit down and do her homework after school! She is highly sociable and loves seeing friends as well as riding her pony and taking riding lessons. She also loves art and crafts and enjoys being creative.

A Full UK driving License is required for this role, a vehicle is provided for transporting to and from school and whilst moving the children around.
