About Me
I am a fully insured OFSTED registered childminder, based on Cuckoo Hall Lane, Edmonton, providing full day care, and out of hours for children aged 0-12 years of age.
As a mother of three myself (aged 8, 13, 23) I understand the importance of finding the right setting for your young child. I have been in your shoes, so understand the expectations of a parent.
Here at Miss Wilson's standards are high, and I aim to offer a home from home, safe, happy, clean and stimulating environment necessary for your child to reach their full potential. We live in a three bedroom house, with a large garden, and a selection of garden toys to cater for all ages. I have recently had the garden revamped, and currently awaiting delivery of an outbuilding, which will be used for my playroom.
I provide an Inclusive setting, where all children are treated with consideration and respect. No child will be discriminated against in anyway. Working with positive attitudes, clear strategy and a positive approach, will encourage every unique child to feel valued, capable and self-assured.
It is my priority to ensure your Child's individual needs and requirements are fulfilled. I work in partnership with parents/carers to give your child a continuity of care, so he/she does not become confused with different standard of behaviour and boundaries. I will also be able to tailor activities for your Child's needs, which will result in having a positive impact on their development and learning.
We attend stay and play sessions at our local Children’s Centre which encourages social skills and awareness of their surroundings.
My Experience
I was a childminding assistant for 5 months, ending when I became a registered childminder in August 2019. I work together in partnership with Willow Children's Centre, where we attend playgroup, childminder sessions, and keep up to date on relevant courses that are available.
During the summer of 2019 I was a nanny for two children aged 2. I cared for them at their house, whilst their parents were at work. we had daily outings which included, the library, local parks, train and bus rides, Stratford Olympic Park and Haringey Play Association events.
I have a full UK driving licence, with no penalties/restrictions, of 20 years and am a member of PACEY.
Having brought up three children of my own, I have vast experience in all stages of development, from new-born to teenage years. I have a good selection of educational toys and material to help your Child's growth with a relaxing sensory and book corner. We have an outdoor space to do messy play and activities, which is covered by a lean-too, plus a large kitchen area. I have all the amenities to cater for babies and young children.
I joined Hackney Play Association in February 2018, where I am a casual playworker for children aged 6-17. This gave me experience working within different settings - Homerton Grove Adventure playground -Clapton Park Play and Youth Project - Pearson Street Adventure Playground..

As a registered childminder, it is a legal requirement that I follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. This covers the stage of children’s development from birth to the end of their first (reception) year in school. The EYFS was created to ensure your Childs first 5 years are happy, active, exciting, fun safe and secure, providing the foundation children need to make the most of their abilities and talents as they grow up.
I am professional, enthusiastic and very passionate about my work, and I strive to offer the best care and facilities for your Childs happiness, needs and development. I continually take courses to update and refresh my training to ensure I am providing you with a high quality childcare service. This includes any government changes which are vital for childcare educators, including safeguarding, first aid and food hygiene.

It is so daunting finding the right person to look after your child. Sha Sha has helped eliminate all my worries, we have found a home from home, where my daughter loves attending her sessions. My daughter’s personality shines when she is with Sha Sha because ultimately she has a solid relationship with her. I have seen such a growth in my child too! Communicating alot more, socialising with other children, understanding the world better and she’s only 1. We started our sessions in December 2021 (only been a couple of months) Sha is truly Amazing, Honest, and Reliable.
I have just started a week with Shara and it’s been amazing so far.. at first I was really worried especially with my little boy been a fussy eater but she reassured me that everything will be ok. Now in space of four days my son is eating more happy to wake up in the morning and so excited to tell me how much fun he had.
I would highly recommend this childminder without a doubt especially in this pandemic she is well equipped in the health and safety of my son.
I would say Shara is a second mother to my son when I’m not around, he really can’t stop talking about Shara.
Thanks Shara
Keep up the great work
Our daughter has been looked after wonderfully by our main childminder but on many days, ShaSha as been there too and she always has a warm smile and a totally natural approach to looking after the kids. Our daughter instantly warmed to her, which put our minds at east knowing that there were two adults who our daughter liked! She is flexible in terms of picking up from school and also has some other amazing talents such as photography, which we took full advantage of and managed to get some amazing shots of our daughter.
Thanks to ShaSha and would recommend her as a childminder without reservation.
I can't recommend Shara highly enough, Im so happy that she has become an integral part of our little girl's life.
The moment our little one met Shara (or ShaSha as she's now lovingly known) they formed an instant bond. Shara is so warm, kind and has such a natural affinity to children it's no surprise that when walking to childcare in the morning our little one will often say, with a big grin on her face, "ShaSha" in anticipation of meeting her.
What I really love about Shara is that she relates to children so easily and so gently, she always considers situations from their perspective. When settling our little one in to childcare we of course wanted it to be a happy experience for her, Shara was a key part of ensuring this. She'd welcome our little one in to the space, talk about the day they were about to have together and simply follow her lead. I feel like Shara really understands and aligns with our parenting approach so our LO gets continuity of care - this is really important to us as parents.
Of course Shara is great fun too and her warmth, smiles and laughter are infectious. As first time parents what more could you want from the person you entrust with the care of your little one!?
We met Shara through JoJo's ChildCare where she's a part of the wonderful team there. Shara also looked after our little one in the summer, coming to our house and providing brilliant experiences for her outside of the home such as taking her to the library, outdoor fountains and the park.
I wholeheartedly recommend Shara and hopefully by leaving this review she'll be aware of how much we value her.
